The warmth of her bear hugs, the ringing joy of her laugh, and every sweet “love you” will stay with us, always. Her heart lives on, carried forever in the hearts of everyone who loves her.
How impossible is it to capture the entire significance of a person on a single page? In a single word? In a single thought?
All that remains now are the memories to hold onto so tightly—wishing for just one last glimpse, to hear that beautiful laugh again, or to catch her sweet scent one more time. How could anyone ever explain the sheer bigness of who she was to a stranger?
These memories are a timeless sanctuary. This space is a home for her endless warmth—a place to sit with her laughter, keep her bright light close, and find comfort in a love that will never leave.
She lived to connect. On daily runs and hikes, she would chat with anyone without judgment, or spend hours walking with friends, talking so fast she’d practically forget to breathe. She stood as the uncomplaining anchor for her parents, a true partner in crime to her sisters, and a daughter’s absolute best friend and biggest cheerleader.
Her bravery was in her gentleness. She possessed a rare, beautiful softness and a humor that made the world feel so much lighter. She had a way of making people feel completely seen, entirely safe, and loved in the most ordinary moments.
Her love language was wonderfully tangible, full of life and endearing quirks. It lived in giant mugs of coffee warmed up five times, unashamedly stolen plant cuttings for a new garden, hilarious “lee-isms”, and unexpected little gifts. She showed up constantly in the tiny ways that meant everything—listening to every random detail, always having your back, and eagerly interrupting conversations out of pure excitement to know it all.
No phone call or visit ever ended without a heartfelt “I love you.” And when wrapped in one of her legendary bear hugs, she held on so tight that her beautiful scent stayed with you all day. She was kindness, warmth, and pure love.
